Mood Ring Circus and The Kursk

August 13, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm CDT

One year….One year of being inside, one year of virtual shows, one year of having no plans, one year without live rock n’ roll. And, frankly, it has been terrible.
THAT’S ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE!
For the first time in over a year, the circus is back in town! Local legends, Mood Ring Circus, will be coming together, in their entirety, for their first live rock show in Springfield at the Cellar! This will be a very special reunion experience for the members of Mood Ring. Their bassist, Alex, has been off living the California “lockdown” dream in LA and is flying back just for this special event.
They will be joined by 417 powerhouses and good friends, The Kursk. We are so excited to see these bands tear up the Cellar stage and put on the show that we have all been craving!
Be there, August 13th at 7pm. $12 in advance / $15 at the door.
About the Bands:
Mood Ring Circus is a no boundaries rock n’ roll band hailing from Springfield, MO. They are groove and energy embodied, with a dose of liberating heaviness. Drawing from influences such as Incubus, Fiona Apple (they share the same producer, Jim Wirt, as these two for their debut album “Limbo Daze”), and Jack’s Mannequin, this band is a circus of sounds and experiences. The Kursk has a long history in the Springfield, MO music scene. If you haven’t had the awesome experience to check them out, you are missing something great. They are a sweet blend of progressive music, grungy tones, intricate instrumentation, and solid songwriting. This talented trio can be seen all around Southwest Missouri, and across the nation when on tour. Check out their Spotify before the show: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1p0r07Io0MoR4OMv9bSdqB…
